My name is Isabelle Tamagni, and I'm a massage therapist and reflexologist. My services are aimed at women of all ages, babies and children, both boys and girls.
Massage therapy helps babies to promote their well-being and development. Massage therapy and reflexology are common practices for this young audience. Massage for babies is a gentle technique involving movements appropriate to the infant's stage of development. There are several categories of movement: gentle pressure, kneading and stroking. A session will contribute to baby's physical and sensory development. The baby's nervous system is directly stimulated by these massage movements, and muscles and joints are strengthened. Motor development, coordination and body awareness are directly stimulated. It's also recommended for the relief of tummy aches, colic and digestive discomfort, helping to relieve gas and promote digestion. There are so many benefits for your baby, don't hesitate!
Reflexology for babies is very similar to that for adults, the only difference being that the movements are directly adapted to babies' limbs, which are much more delicate. In the same way as massage therapy, reflexology will relieve colic, teething pains and sleep problems. By stimulating these specific reflex zones, babies can enjoy a relaxing moment for themselves and their bodies.
Massage therapy for children is tailored to their needs and sensitivities. During these sessions, the child will find himself in a calm, secure and playful environment that will enable him to relax in complete confidence. The atmosphere can be adjusted according to the child's desires, the light can be dimmed and soft music can be added to create this peaceful atmosphere. It's a session designed to put the child at ease and allow him or her to relax. Massage techniques are gentle and light, using light pressure, caressing movements and delicate tapping. To create a more interactive session, I can use play elements or stories to create a bond with the child. Benefits include stress reduction, improved sleep, resolution of headaches, muscular pain, tension and digestive problems.
Reflexology for children is the same as reflexology for babies or adults. It is adapted to the child's age, so the movements used are appropriate for the child. This method can be used when the child is going through stressful periods, such as moving house, adjusting to school or family changes. The aim is to relax the child and enable him or her to unwind peacefully.
Massage therapy is a form of body therapy based on the power of touch, using soft-tissue manipulation techniques to promote relaxation, relieve pain and enhance overall well-being. The manipulations involved in a massage therapy session can vary in intensity, pressure and technique, depending on your needs and preferences.
Reflexology is a different practice, based on the principle that specific zones on your feet, hands and ears correspond to organs, glands and parts of your body. By stimulating these reflex zones, I can promote your balance and general well-being. You'll notice many benefits! It promotes deep relaxation, stress relief and sleep, and helps reduce anxiety. By targeting the corresponding reflex zones, reflexology alleviates chronic pain, headaches, lower back pain and the various tensions you may feel.
