Foot reflexology is a gentle, age-old method of applying pressure to different nerve zones on the foot, linked to different organs and glands, to help the body regulate itself, relax and treat various health problems. Reflexology is accessible to all, children and adults alike.
I'm Jonathan, I've worked for most of my career in the retail sector. After reaching an agreement with my employer, I was given the opportunity to quit my job to give myself time to develop a personal project, which came to a screeching halt with the confinement. It was a cold shower, so I started looking for a new job and had to think hard about what I wanted to do. It was by chance that I discovered foot reflexology, without necessarily knowing what it was all about. I began to find out more about the practice, the powers it could bring to the treatment of body and mind, and the training courses on offer. So I decided to take the plunge and follow a training course, during which I was also able to discover the benefits of this practice, and experience the foot reflexology technique derived from traditional Chinese medicine, which is based on the principle of the wheel of the 5 elements.
It's been over a year since I completed my studies, and I'm now offering my services to treat the various health problems you may encounter. Here is a list of the different problems that can be treated (sleep disorders, digestive disorders, stress, hormonal disorders, enuresis, growth problems, support for people in remission from cancer*,...).
A foot reflexology treatment is a slow process, and it takes an average of 3 sessions** to notice a change in the body. Sessions are spaced a week apart, to give the body time to accept the work received, understand it and integrate it for self-regulation.
* It is important to know that foot reflexology is not a medical treatment, but a health care that can accompany a medical treatment, so for any more important health problems, it is imperative to have the doctor's approval before being able to follow a foot reflexology session.
** This depends on the person's sensitivity to the treatment.
