After a busy professional career, I decided to switch gears and treat myself to Wùo Taï training with Roland Combes, the French osteopath who created this art form. I thus became PDG (Passeur De Gestes).
Wùo taï is in fact a set of gestures that enable us to enter into a relationship between ourselves and others, between ourselves and ourselves, between ourselves and the universe.
Wùo Taï is practiced in pairs (one giver and one receiver). The receiver surrenders to the flowing sequence of gentle gestures, combined with the slow, undulating movements of dance. This is why Wùo Taï is also called osteo-dance.
Like waves, the giver's danced gestures spread throughout the receiver's body, subtly, gently and deeply activating the various articular, musculoskeletal, visceral, fascial and nervous system structures... These structures are mobilized and stretched in all directions. The result is deep relaxation and re-vitalization.
The initial benefits of Wùo Taï are comparable to those of a yoga session: gentleness, relaxation and balance, while respecting each individual's abilities and limits.
In addition to the feeling of well-being it provides, Wùo Taï is also an invaluable aid to health, in the event of :

Wùo Taï requires no particular physical condition and can be practised on the floor, at any age, dressed in flexible clothing.
